Robbie Joe Williams

Mr. Robbie Joe Williams, age 75, a native of Sneads, Florida, passed away at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee, Florida, on Monday, February 20, 2012. He was the youngest of eight children of Willie W. and Betty Daniels Williams of Sneads. Robbie was an ordained deacon and longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Chattahoochee, Florida. Robbie retired from Florida State Hospital in 1996 after 38 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of over 55 years, Hope Davis Williams of Sneads, Florida; his sister, Willie B. Bullock of Dallas, Georgia; his daughter, Lucinda Williams Hagler (Doug) of Lake City, Florida; his son, Thomas Joseph Williams (Beverly) of Tallahassee, Florida; four grandsons, Kyle Hagler, Joshua Williams, Cameron Hagler, and Chase Hagler; one granddaughter, Kelsey Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, J.B., Reuben, and Ralph Williams; and his sisters, Daughty Smitherman, Ruby Gilley, and Inez Elwick.

Visitation will be held at Lanier-Andler Funeral Home Chapel in Sneads, Florida, Tuesday, February 21, 2012, 5:00 - 7:00 PM (CST).

Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church in Chattahoochee, Florida, Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at 11:00 AM (CST)with interment to follow at Dykes Cemetery, Sneads, Florida.
