The Sneads junior varsity had a statement to make last Thursday when they took the field and they wasted little time in doing so.  They handed the visiting Port St. Joe Sharks a 16-2 loss.

A safety by the Sharks was their only score of the night but the Pirates put together points on the offensive and defensive side of the field.

Donte Holden recovered a fumble and ran the distance for a touchdown.  Holden also had seven carries on offense for a total of 64 yards.   Holden had a two-point conversion to cap off his scoring for the night.

Spencer Hart scurried into the end zone for the Pirates other touchdown with Hunter Wagner making good on the conversion.

The Sneads Pirates have an added game this week with little time to enjoy their win.  They will travel to Marianna to take on the Bulldogs.  Kickoff is at 6 p.m.
