The Marianna Bulldogs soccer team kept pace with the Lady Bulldogs last night, picking up a 4-2 win over Godby to advance to the semi-final game. This sets up the Bulldogs to play in the championship game for a chance at a district championship, the Bulldogs first District Championship since 2012.
Bishop Bosland scored two goals and had one assist for the Bulldogs with Riley Arunakul finding the back of the net once and assisting with a goal. Victor Dubeux scored a goal and Jac Clikas added an assist.
Jacob Weaver did a stellar job in goal, allowed two goals while adding eight saves to his stats.
At press time, the Bulldogs semi-final matchup had been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 30, 2019 due to weather and field conditions on Tuesday. The TIMES will have those results on line as soon as the game has concluded.
