Marianna AAA All-Stars are heading to state

The Marianna AAA All-Stars have been working hard off the field as well as on field. They are working hard honing their skills to be able to compete for a state title while working on raising funds for the team to travel, paying for rooms and food while miles away from home.

Monday night, Rex Torbett talked with the team about the RT1 they have added to their jerseys for all-star play. He told the team to know why they are wearing the number and to keep the faith, to pick their teammates up and stay the course.  The team listened intently and appeared to absorb every word Torbett was saying. Torbett then led the team in prayer.

The Marianna AAA all-stars would like to thank the community for their outpouring of support not only with monetary donations, but words of encouragement and kindness as they prepare to travel and compete to bring home a state title.

The coaches and parents agree they could not have asked for a better outpouring of support from their community.
