Lady Pirates perfect in tournament with four wins - Take 16-13 win over Paxton in final game

The Sneads Lady Pirates completed their four-game tournament with a slugfest Saturday afternoon, winning 16-13 against Paxton. Marissa Baxter went four and two-thirds innings and picked up the win with Hannah Stephens closing it out and getting the save.  Baxter allowed seven runs on nine hits, no walks, and fanned four batters while Stephens had six runs scored, three earned, on nine hits, one walk, and struck out two batters. 

Abby Perkins was solid at the plate, going four-for-five with five RBIs and three runs scored, followed by Marissa Baxter with two hits, three RBIs and two runs batted in. Ayleen Faria had two hits, two RBIs and two runs batted in, followed by Kiara Garrett with two hits, two runs scored, and one RBI.  On board with one hit and one RBI each were Michaela Edenfield, Abbie McIntosh, and Alexa Porto.  Georgia Scott scored two runs, while Hannah Stephens and Najah Dudley scored one run each.
