From Marianna Police Department

On February 22nd, 2017 at approximately 3:04pm officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to the Chipola Mart located at 4195 Lafayette Street, Marianna, Florida in reference to the report of a disturbance. Upon officers’ arrival, subjects involved in the altercation were identified. During the time officers were investigating this disturbance, Hatrianna Brown became irate towards other subjects involved in the incident.

Officers advised Brown several times to remain calm and away from the other involved individuals. During this time Brown refused to do so and crossed the parking lot, attempting to instigate another altercation. At that time officers arrested Brown for resisting an officer without violence.

Brown was placed in the rear of a patrol vehicle. Prior to transport Brown became irate and began striking the partition located inside the patrol vehicle. Officers assisted Brown with her injuries. Brown was transported by Jackson County Fire and Rescue to Jackson Hospital where she was treated and released with minor injuries. Brown was then taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.

Arrested: Hatrianna Leeshay Brown, black female, 21 years of age, Marianna, FL

Charges: Resisting an officer without violence
