Theft/Fraudulent use of Credit Card

On October 23, 2016, Officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to Winn Dixie in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the victim who advised her wallet was stolen out of her purse while shopping.  The victim received notification from her bank advising her that someone was attempting to use her credit card at several local businesses. Officers were able to get a description of the suspect utilizing surveillance cameras. It is as follows a larger framed black female approximately 5’7 wearing black pants and a white shirt with a black hat. The suspect was driving a white or silver colored four door passenger car.  

This case is currently under investigation by the Marianna Police Department. If anyone has any information regarding this case they are asked to contact the Marianna Police Department at 850-526-3125 or to remain anonymous contact Chipola Crimestoppers at 850-526-5000.
