Thomas Russell Versage

Thomas Russell Versage age 67 of Marianna passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at his home. Thomas was born on January 19, 1952 in New Jersey to the late Peter and Patrina Versage.  Thomas and his family moved to Marianna in 2005 from Fort Lauderdale where he worked many years for Broward County School District as a plumber.  Thomas and his wife attend Rivertown Community Church in Marianna. He loved his wife, family and especially all of his grandkids, who will all miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a granddaughter, Suzanne Denise Powell. Thomas is survived by his  loving wife, Jan, of Marianna, children Thomas Scott Versage and wife, Nikki, of Tallahassee, FL, Jason Christopher Versage and wife, Heather, of Green Acres, FL, Michael Powell of Panama City, FL, and David Lee Powell and wife, Stacy, of Weeki Wachee, FL,  his siblings Kathleen Barrett and husband, Dennis, of Port St. Lucie, FL, Peter C. Versage, Jr. and wife, Elayne, of Homestead, Fl, and Christine Iburg and husband, Chuck, of Williamsburg, IA, grandchildren Jacob Powell, Alyssa Versage, Thomas Santino Versage, Isabella Autumn Powell, Alyssa Long, and Brody Payton. As well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Services for Thomas will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, June 7, 2019 at RCC of Marianna with Pastor Kevin Yoder officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until time of service.

Delores “Dee” Campbell

Delores “Dee” Campbell age 72 of Cottondale, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019, at Southeast Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama from complications stemming from cancer. She was born on July 28, 1946 in Binghamton, New York to the late Robert and Doris Hawkins. She graduated from Sidney High School in Sidney, NY. Dee has been a resident of Cottondale since 1986 and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cottondale for over 30 years. She led many of the church’s group activities including the music program and children’s puppet programs She also led a nonprofit food service for the Cottondale area. In doing so, she received the Jefferson Award for her outstanding public service to her community. She enjoyed church, traveling and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard Campbell, grandchild Cole Campbell, and one sister-in-law Sandra Vermilyea.

Delores is survived by two sons Richard Campbell, II, and Michael Campbell and his wife Melinda, grandchildren Chase Campbell, Hailey Campbell, Isabelle Campbell and great grandchild Harper McKinnon, all of Cottondale. Siblings Randy Hawkins of Texas, and Jacqui Green of Sidney, New York. She is also survived by cousins Hiram & Donna Wagaman, of Pennsylvania, in-laws Gary and Patricia Gonyea, Darlene Campbell, and Elaine Starbuck, along with lifelong friends Mike and Cathy Hawes.

Services for Dee will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 31, 2019 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Hawes officiating. Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30, 2019 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM,

Maxwell Eugene McGill

Maxwell Eugene McGill age 65 of Marianna passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at his home. He was a native of Marianna born on March 23, 1954 to the late Melvin Eugene and Evelyn Haddock McGill. He loved fishing, reading, and crossword puzzles. Max was beloved by family and friends, who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Marsha Posey, and his brother Harold Locke.

Max is survived by his sister Gwen Allen and husband Bruce, brother Larry Ball and girlfriend Nikki, niece Melanie Forston and husband Jason, their children Andrew and Bryce, Joshua Posey and his fiancée Jennifer and their children Ian, Brikston, and Brooklyn, niece Kristin Raffield and her husband Jesse.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Brayden Christopher Dorminey

Brayden Christopher Dorminey, age 12 went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at his home.

Brayden was born on June 3, 2006 in Panama City, FL and has spent his lifetime in Fountain where he attended Fountain Pentecostal Ministries Church. Brayden enjoyed playing video games, fishing, and loved old muscle cars.

He is survived by his parents William and Kayla Dorminey, grandparents Jerry and Kimberly Mills, Dora Davis, and Johnny Dorminey, great grandparents Ray and Patsy Adams, uncles Jerrid Collins and wife Autumn, Christopher Dorminey, Joseph Dorminey and wife Beth, cousin Paisley Collins.

A Celebration of Life service for Brayden will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 26, 2019 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Brother Terrell Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in the Cottondale First Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of service.
