Billy Ingram Shults age 84 of Graceville passed away at his residence on Monday, November 12, 2018. He was born in Villa Rica, Georgia on February 18, 1934 to the late Grady David and Amzie Mae Shults and was of the Assembly of God Faith. Billy moved from Oxford, Mississippi to Graceville in 1969 for a job with REA as a General Superintendent. He left REA in 1976 and went to work for SONY until 1994. Billy was an avid bass fisherman and enjoyed studying genealogy. He spent many years fixing bicycles to help children’s charities at Christmas time.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Charles Olan Shults. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Yvonne Shults; daughters, Patricia Shults Yeomans and Pamela Sue Sowell (Wayne); grandchildren, Jacqueline Pabon (Miguel) and Lisa Diane Sowell; great grandchildren, Elaina and Julius.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018 in the Williams Funeral Home with Pastor John Broome and Pastor Michael White Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Marvin Chapel Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018 in the Williams Funeral Home.
