Terry “Goober” Neal Cain

Terry “Goober” Neal Cain age 32 from Leonia, Fl passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 in Tallahassee.

Terry was born on April 29, 1986 in Panama City to the late Johnnie Howard Cain and Brenda Faye Cain. He had lived most of his life in Leonia and had worked as a roofer for Pinnacle Roofing. Terry was family oriented and love spending time with his kids, his mother, and other family members. He was free spirited who loved laughing, joking around, and drinking beer. Terry enjoyed helping others, listening to all types of music, including Saturday night coon hunting with Charlie Gilmore on 95.5, which was a tradition his dad started.

He was preceded in death by his dad, and his daughter Haley Cain.

Terry is survived by his mother Brenda Faye Cain of Winter Garden, Fl, son Levi Webb, of Apopka, FL, daughter Lily Webb of Apopka, FL, brothers Johnnie Cain of Leonia, FL, Nicolas Veloquio (Stacey Webb) of Apopka, FL, sisters Joni Cain (Christopher) of Panama City, Nikki Veloquio (Donnie Taylor) of DeFuniak Springs, FL, nieces and nephews Tyler, Krista, Kellar, Shayle, Damon, Darren, Little Johnnie.

A celebration of life service for Terry will be held at 5:00 PM, Sunday, February 10, 2019 in the Williams Funeral Home Chapel.

Jeremy Allen Cushing

Jeremy Allen Cushing went to be with his Heavenly Father on January 14, 2019.

He was born in Dothan, Alabama on December 31, 1976. Jeremy grew up in Graceville where he graduated from Graceville High School in 1995. He furthered his education at University of Florida and graduated in 2000. Jeremy was and adoring husband and a deeply devoted father. He was a passionate coach to both his children. Jeremy was a Civil Engineer at FDOT and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Graceville.

Jeremy is survived by his loving wife Chelsea, his children Gabriel and Caroline. He is also survived by his parents Jerry Cushing and Elaine Cushing.

A celebration of life service for Jeremy will be held at 3:30 PM, Monday, January 21, 2019 in the First United Methodist Church of Graceville with Pastor Mike Pearson. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until time of service.

Tammie Louise Matteri

Tammie Louise Matteri age 56 of Graceville passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Southeast Health Hospital in Dothan.

Tammie was born in North Carolina on March 19, 1962 to the late George Grant and JoAnne Allmond Budd. She had lived in Graceville for the past 29 years coming from Pensacola. Tammie enjoyed puzzles, cooking, crocheting, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Kathy Guinand, and one grandson Ethan Matteri.

Tammie is survived by her husband Frank Matteri, son Anthony Matteri and wife Penney Watkins, daughter Angela Guinand, brother Chris Clinton, grandchildren Jeremey Guinand, Emmalyssa Matteri, Nathan Matteri, Maddison Matteri, and one nephew George Guinand.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Carolyn Scarborough Hughes

Carolyn Scarborough Hughes age 87 of Graceville passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Ray City, Georgia on December 8, 1931 to the late Huey and Doris Ann Deloach Scarborough. Mrs. Hughes had lived in Graceville since 1954 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Graceville. She dearly loved her profession as a cosmetologist and owned Modern Beauty Shop. Carolyn enjoyed spending time talking with friends and family, going to the beach, and tending to her flower beds.

 Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Vivian Scarborough Coody and Gwendolyn Scarborough Chitty.

She is survived by her loving husband of forty-three years, David Hughes; daughters, Susan Yvon (Wayne) of St. Augustine, Fl and Nina Lynette Bennett (Tim) of Barnwell, SC; one grandson, Trevor M. Yvon of St. Augustine, Fl.

 A memorial service for Mrs. Carolyn will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 in the First Baptist Church of Graceville with Rev. Naethan Hendrix officiating.
