Ms. Nisa L. Brown of Marianna, FL transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, January 12, 2017 in Jackson Hospital.  She was a member of Antioch African Methodist Episcopal Church.  She was employed with Jackson County School Board as a Paraprofessional.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church 2891 Orange Street, Marianna, FL with Rev. Ronald D. Mizer, Pastor, Rev. Douglas Jones, Rev. Leroy Hall, Rev. Hollis McClendon, Presiding Elder James H. Davis and Pastor Adrian Staley, officiating.  Interment in the Antioch Cemetery. Vann Funeral Home was in charge.

She leaves to cherish her loving and precious memories: 

A loving and devoted mother: Betty Brown of Marianna, FL

Daughter: Brea Hayes of Marianna, FL

Son: Jevin Brown of Marianna, FL

Sister: Angela Brown James (Terrall) of Phenix City, AL

Brother: Quentin Brown of Marianna, FL

Four Aunts: Floy Hayes (Curtis) and Martha Speights (James), both of Marianna, FL; Mary 

Wells of Bradenton, FL; Catherine Clark of Orlando, FL

Uncle: Robert Brown Jr. (Pamela) of Marianna, FL

Nephew: Marquias Walker of Marianna, FL

Niece: Sariya Brown of Marianna, FL

Special Friend: Michael Morris of Chipley, FL

And a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.

Carolyn Davis

Mrs. Carolyn Davis of Malone, FL transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at New Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church 5239 Liberty Hill Road Bascom, FL with Rev. Joseph Curry, Rev. Abraham Johnson and Dr. Elder Nelson Wilson, Pastor officiating. 

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Vann Funeral Home will be in charge of the service.

Mrs. Davis will lie in repose at the church from 12 Noon until time for the service.

The viewing will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Vann Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories a loving and devoted family:

Four Sisters: Barbara Washington (Henry) of Leesville, LA; Jerrun Sorrells of Douglasville, GA; LaKeshia Stith (Brian) of Kennesaw, GA and Arbedella Kimbrough of Joiner, AK 

Two Brothers: Elder Steve Sorrells (Telitha) of Seminole, FL and Anthony Sorrells of Clermont, FL

Father and Mother-in-law: Jimmie and Annie Ruth Davis of Bascom, FL

Sisters-in-Law: Linda Sorrells of Stockbridge, GA, Clara Hunter (Ray) of Donaldsonville, GA and Joyce Smith of Malone, FL
