Keith Woodham

Keith Woodham, 59 of the Poplar Springs Community, Graceville, Florida passed away, Tuesday, February 14, 2017.

Keith was born in Graceville, May 6, 1957. A 1975 graduate of Poplar Springs High School, Keith was owner/operator of Woodham Peanut Company. Keith had a heart of gold and was the best son, brother, husband, daddy and Pap Pap. His life was his family, his extended family, his work and his farmers.

He was a member of the Florida Peanut Producers Association and Bethel Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his father, Wendell Woodham.

Survived by his wife Penny Woodham; mother, Patsy Woodham; son, Rusty (Christy) Woodham; daughter Lace (Chris) Woodham; sister Tammy (Brett) Bailey; four grandsons Dylan Durrance, Blaine Alan Woodham, Waylon Keith Woodham, Ryder Woodham; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Free and Rev. Chester Padgett officiating. Burial will follow in Church cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.

Family will receive friends at the church Thursday, 1 p.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers family request memorials be made to American Heart Association P.O. Box 840692 Dallas, TX, 75284-0692 or Kate Smith Elementary Relay for Life, checks payable to ACS 1447 South Blvd. Chipley, FL  32428 attn: Tiffany Steverson.

Graveside service was held 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Pleasant
Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chester Padgett officiating, James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directed.
Mrs. Brewer a retired telephone operator was born in Orleans, Massachusetts, living in Graceville area for over 30 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband SSG John Richard Brewer
She is survived by two nieces Christine Contonio, Kathleen Crocket, nephews Robert Long; life long friends Mary Ann McMillan and husband the late Andy McMillan; her daughter Robin Lynn Wakefield and husband Alan; their children Alan Scott and Matthew, Graceville, FL; her son Andrew J. McMillan and wife Marsha and their children John, Andrea and Lindsay, Brooksville, FL

Rickey D. Pelham, 54 of Dothan, AL formerly of Graceville, FL passed away
Monday, February 6, 2017.
Rickey was born Graceville on January 7, 1968 to the late Harry and Bonnie
Corbin Pelham. He was a brick mason for many years.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home.
Rickey is survived by five children Garrett Pelham, Harry Pelham, Bridgett Pelham, Bonnie Pelham, Cody Saturley; two brothers Larry “Mick” Pelham, Danny Pelham; sister Bonnie Davis; 4 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Maudie Miles

Mrs. Maudie Miles, 93 of Cottondale, FL passed away, Saturday, January 14, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Revs. Leroy Lewis and Gary Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 p.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Maudie was born in Esto, FL on November 21, 1923 to the late Henry Warren Thweatt and Katie Daniel Thweatt. A beloved mother and grandmother, Mrs. Maudie retired in 1990 from Graceville High School cafeteria. She loved spending time with family, fishing and cooking. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. 

Predeceased by the love of her life R.C. Miles, parents, granddaughter Tracy Keel and great granddaughter Emily Keel.

Survived by her devoted children Lamar Miles, Cottondale, Jennifer Alday (Buddy) Altha, FL; three sisters Merle Hart, Marianna, Barbara Hawthorne, Newton, AL, Juanita Thweatt, Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren Chris Miles, Lori Mapel, Stacey Alday(Julie), Jamie Alday; eight great grandchildren Bo Miles, Rett Miles, Jolene Alday, Jamison Alday, Josh Alday, Skylar Keel, Haley Mapel, Luke Mapel.

A special “thank-you” to Dr. Steve Davis and Covenant Hospice for all the kindness and care you have given to our mother and grandmother.
