Quintin O. Mike

Quintin O. Mike, 61, affectionately known as (Friendly) was born July 11, 1956 to Willie and Mary L. Mike at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.  He transitioned peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2018, 8:30 A.M. at home.  He attended public school in Dade and Gadsden County.  He later joined the Army, he received an Honorable Discharge after serving a little more than two years.  Quintin lived most of his adult life in Miami, Florida before moving to Gadsden where he met and married Ruthie Robinson in 1998.  He accepted Christ and joined New Bethel P.B. Church.  Quintin had several trades and was a National-Statewide Truck Driver.  He enjoyed cooking and reading.  Quintin fathered one child, Specialist John Moore who currently serves in the U.S. Army.  He has two stepsons, Markeith Robinson and Sgt. Maurious McCall who also serves in the USAF.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary L. and Willie Mike, sister, Stacy Favors and Valerie Mike.  Quintin leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Ruthie Mike; sons, Specialist John Moore, Markeith Robinson and Sgt. Maurious McCall (Suzanne Kylee); three sisters, Mary Owens, Geraldine Weaver and Deloris Madison; two brothers, Jimmy Jones (Derotha) and Willie Mike, Jr. (Felicia); aunt, Isabell Mike; uncle, Elder Willie B. Sanders (Jessie); two grandchildren, Laseisha Daniels and Lashonjanae Murphy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing relatives and friends.  Funeral service was Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at New Bethel PB Church in Havana, FL.  Crawford & Moultry Funeral Home of Chattahoochee, FL were in charge of arrangements.
