Vera Mae Walker

Mrs. Vera Mae Walker, age 88, of Campbellton, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley.

She was a native of Jackson County, a member of Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church in Campbellton, Florida. She was born October 17, 1930 to the union of Henry and Mary Cotton.  

She is survived by her son: James Walker (Carrie) of South Orange, NJ; a brother: Earnest Hall of Jacob City, Florida; five grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 3-6 PM, Friday, March 22, 2019 at the funeral home

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday, March 23, 2019 at St. Paul AME Church in Campbellton, Florida.

She will be laid to rest in the Saint Paul/New Bethel Cemetery in Campbellton, Florida under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.

Dollie Mae Douglas

Mrs. Dollie Mae Douglas, age 102, of Panama City, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Silvercrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Crestview, Florida.

She was a native of Slocomb, Alabama and the daughter of the late Charlie Sr. and Arleana Smith. She was a member of Saint John Missionary Baptist Church of Panama City, Florida.

Mrs. Dollie was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Strauss Douglas, the mother of the late Mattye Sue Douglas Pittman and the grandmother of the late Rodney D. Pittman of Graceville, Florida.

She is survived by one sister, Martha Ford of Camden, New Jersey; her son-in-law: Donald J. Pittman of Graceville, Florida; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, March 18, 2019 from 9:00 am until funeral service time at 11:00 am in the chapel of Saint John Missionary Baptist Church, 1021 N Cove Blvd, Panama City, Florida with the Reverend Delwynn Williams, pastor/teacher officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Hillside Cemetery in Panama City, FL under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, FL.

Roberta Daniels

Ms. Robertha Daniels, 59, of Greenwood, Florida went home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2019 at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Florida.

She was born December 13, 1959 to Ida Mae Daniels and the late Chesterfield Daniels. She was a native of Jackson County and a member of Greenwood Chapel AME Church in Greenwood, Florida.

She is survived by her children, Ida Daniels and Aaron Aydelotte (Kimberley); her mother, Ida Mae Daniels; two brothers: Willie Roy Daniels and Edward Daniels; two sisters: Shirley Pittman and Gloria Highsmith; ten grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 3-6 PM, Friday, March 15, 2019 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Greenwood Chapel AME Church in Greenwood, FL with the Reverend Blanche Godwin, pastor, officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Nubbin Ridge Cemetery in Greenwood, FL under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, FL.
