Toreatha Joyce Hayes Mitchell

Mrs. Toreatha Joyce Hayes Mitchell, 60, of Greenwood, FL went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 12, 2019 at her home.

She was a native of Jackson County, FL and member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church of Marianna, Florida.

Precious memories will forever remain with her daughter, Martini Hayes; her mother:  Hattie Mae Hayes of Greenwood, Florida; sisters: Malisa Clark (Venson) of Greer, South Carolina and Deana Richardson (Paul) of Jacksonville, Florida; aunts: Mary Hall of Saint Petersburg, Florida, Nancy Johnson of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Reola Williams of Two Egg, Florida; nieces: Rita Jones of Tallahassee, Florida, Daisy Hayes of Huntsville, Alabama and Malia Richardson of Jacksonville, Florida; nephews: Xaiden Hayes, Xander Hayes and Xakyai Hayes all of Huntsville, Alabama, Morgan Jones and Kerwin Jones, Jr., both of Tallahassee, Florida; a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends

Visitation will be 3-6 PM, Friday, April 19, 2019 in the M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel, 5441 Cooper Street, Graceville, FL.

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday. April 20, 2019 at Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 3695 Poplar Springs Rd, Marianna, FL with the Reverend Dwight D. Cockerham, Sr., pastor, officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.

Patricia Ann Pace Lewis

Mother Patricia Ann Pace Lewis, 72, of Port Saint Joe, Florida, on Saturday, March 30, 2019, while in the serenity and comfort of Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City, Florida, surrounded by her loving and caring family, God dispatched the Angel of death to her bedside.

She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Minister Early “Fatman” Lewis, Jr. on February 3, 1964. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2015.

She was a member of The Body of Christ Jesus Church, Port St. Joe, Florida, and served in many ministries as well as, Church Mother.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Walter Lewis (Mildred), Early Lewis III, Rosalind McClain (Harrison), Michael Lewis (Erica), Apostle Curtis Lewis (Lorie), Shelton Lewis (Breanna), Desmond Lewis and Davin Lewis (Kierra); grandchildren: Michael II, Celeste, Eathan, Shakia; great grandchildren: Michael III, Shelton, Jr. and London Zayden; brother, Jimmy Lewis (Elsia); numerous nieces and nephews and a host of cousins, friends and Christian family.  

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to the time of service at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Body of Christ Jesus Church, 106 Harbor Street, Port St. Joe, FL with the Pastor Wilhelmina Williams officiating. 

She will be laid to rest in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Port St. Joe, FL under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.

Elizabeth K. Strange

Mrs. Elizabeth K. Strange, 80, of Grand Ridge, FL went home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2019 at her home with her family at her side.

She was a native of Houston County, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents: Perry and Beatrice Kirkland; and a son, Donald Strange, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Lisa Ford (James) of Tallahassee, Florida and Patricia Johnson (David) of Grand Ridge, Florida; four sisters: Laura Kirkland of Sneads, Florida, Dorothy Franklin of Grand Ridge, Florida, Mary Mears and Lillie Walters of Marianna, Florida; four grandchildren: Michael Ford, Raven Ford, David Johnson, Jr. (Tessa) and Patrick Johnson (Summer); one great grandson, Benjamin Gibson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 1:30 PM at Cypress Community Church, 2809 Church Street, Cypress, FL.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM at the church, under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.
