Jeffrey Daryl Tyus

Jeffrey Daryl Tyus, 59, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov, 28, 2017. Jeffrey was a Veteran of the United States Army and of the Christian Faith. He loved God, His Family, Country Music and the great outdoors. He was preceded in death by his Father, AJ Tyus of Sneads, FL; Step-Father, Harold Powers; two step-bothers; Howard Powers and Bobby Powers all of Richmond, Va. Jeffrey is survived by his loving Mother, Mary Powers, Keystone Heights, FL; Step-mother, Vicki Tyus, Sneads, FL; Sister, Mary Ann Cleveland (Danny), Chattanooga, TN; half-sister, Patty Robinson, Quilan, TX; step-brother, Rick Powers (Carolyn), Emporia, VA; Brothers: Daryl Tyus, Mike Tyus; Sister, Martha Brown all of Sneads, FL. In addition, He is survived by his 3 children; Kevin Tyus, Richmond, VA; Anna Fialho (Silvio) of Leominster, MA; Ashleigh Tyus (Henny) of Fitchburg, MA; 5 Grandchildren: Hunter, Adam, Christian, Claire and Anderson of Leominster, MA; several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

A Graveside Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 at 1 PM CST at Dykes Cemetery in Sneads, FL with Minister Bob Solomon of Alachua, FL officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to The Purple Heart Foundation; Haven Hospice; The American Cancer Society or American Heart Association in His honor.

Arrangements under directions of Cremations Only, Gainesville, FL
