Mr. Christopher Roger Russ age 40 of Graceville, FL passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  

Funeral services were held at 11a.m. Saturday, September 23rd 2017 at New Bethel C.M.E. Church located 2487 Highway 2 Campbellton, FL, with the Reverend’s  Freeman Walker Sr., Melenda T. Smith, and Douglas Craig Cotton officiating.                                                                   Interment followed  in St. Paul/New Bethel Cemetery with Military Honors, and with    McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton directing.   

Christopher Roger Russ was born on July 15, 1977 in Graceville, FL to Clemmie & Rheaber Russ. He was called home to be with God on September 17, 2017.

Chris graduated high school in 1996 and started his military career in the United States Army. He served eight years before returning home in 2004.

He leaves to mourn his passing; his three sons Douglas Russ, Deon Williams & Krishawn Russ, one daughter Tatyanna Russ, his sisters Pearlie Mae Marks & Annie Mae Terrell (Henry) of Atlanta, GA, Patricia Miller & Husband of Houston, TX, Valeria B. Hill of Lakeland, FL and Stacie D. Barkley of Memphis, TN and his brothers Clemmie Russ, Jr (Joree) of Atlanta, GA and Rodney R. Russ of Seattle, WA. His foster family; Harry & Eula McCallister, brothers Melvin Knox, Lorenzo Dixon and Marvin McCallister, sisters Marilyn McCallister and Velma Wright. Also a host of many loving cousins, an uncle, nieces, nephews and friends.
