Norman Davis Norman Davis

Mr. Norman Davis, age 82, of  Dublin, Georgia, formerly of Blountstown, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on September 9, 2017 in Sharon Regional Health System.

Mr. Davis worked as a medication officer in domestic relations at the Mercer County Courthouse where he retired. He loved collecting albums, listening to music, and liked to fish and bowl. Mr. Davis was a United States Air Force Veteran, serving during Vietnam.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the sanctuary of the Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Blountstown, Florida where the Reverend Dr. C.L. Wilson is the pastor/teacher. Interment will be in the Magnolia Cemetery. Vann Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Davis will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until time for the service.

A viewing will held on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted family:

Son: Derek Davis of Amherst, Massachusetts

Former Daughter-in-Law: Joyce Allen Davis of Garner, North Carolina

Sister: Dorothy Horne of Bedford Heights, Ohio

Five Grandchildren, Three Great-Grandchildren

One Aunt: Christine McGregor of Wilbraham, Massachusetts 

And a host of other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
