Margaret Annette Singer

Margaret Annette Singer was born on October 7, 1937 and at 81, went to be with her Lord on January 6, 2019.  Annette began her working career at Florida State Hospital where she stayed for 18 years.  Upon leaving the hospital, she moved to Orlando, FL and worked at C.N.A. Insurance Company for 14 years.  After that she volunteered for the Orange County Sheriff Department for many years before returning to her hometown in Sneads, FL.  She then worked as a dispatcher for the Sneads Police Department for 2 years. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Grand Ridge, FL. Annette was an extraordinary woman who will be missed dearly by her friends and family.

Annette is survived by four daughters, Lynn Jeter (Billy Joe), Sharon Eubanks, Shirley Giddens (Dace) and Susanne Singer; one stepson, Stanley Singer; one sister, Anneita Gilbourn; fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and two very special friends Christine and Ronnie Owens.

Annette was preceded in death by her parents, David Roy and Jewell Cooper; her loving husband, Stanley W. Singer Jr.; four Brothers Roy Jr., Bill Cooper, Maston Cooper and Dan Cooper; two grandchildren, Karen Hamm, and David Jeter;  and two son-in-law’s, Billy Eubanks and Bill Smith.   

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at McAlpin Funeral Home on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:00 AM CST with Rev. Dallas Ellis and Rev. Charles Kleiser officiating and McAlpin Funeral Home directing.  Visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to service.  Interment will be at Dykes Cemetery in Sneads, FL.
