Life for Mother Minnie Lee Dawson of the St. Rose Community, Grand Ridge, Florida  on March 2, 1920, to the late James ‘Dick’ Yon and Mary Yon.  She entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 25th in Tallahassee, Florida.

Precious memories will forever linger in the hearts of her children, Nedra Smith (Sim) of Greensboro, Florida, NasJames Dawson (Amanda) of Blountstown, Florida, Willie James Dawson (Hazel) of Panama City, Florida, Kain Dawson (Gladys) and Maeola Hall both of Grand Ridge, Florida; a special sister, Penny Dudley of Grand Ridge, Florida; 23 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A homegoing celebration for Mother Minnie’s life will be held Thursday, November 1st at 11:00a.m. at New Beginnings Ministry Church of Christ Written in Heaven Church with Elder Margie Miller, Rev. Linda Dukes, Apostle Geraldine D. Sheard and Elder Christopher Baker officiating.  Interment will follow in the St. Rose Sunset Gardens with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.

She will lie-in-repose for one hour at New Beginnings today prior to the 11a.m. funeral time.
