Mrs. Doris L. Vann of Greenwood, Florida transitioned from this earthly home on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. She was a member of Greater Buckhorn Baptist Church.

She was an educator for 35 years for Jackson County School Board with a tenure at F. M. Golson Elementary School.

Funeral service will be Monday, August 27, 2018, at12 Noon at Greater Buckhorn Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Joseph Curry, Rev. Delanor Myrick, Rev. Felix Long Jr., Rev. Freddie Roulhac and Pastor William Harvey, officiating.

The body will lie in repose from 11:00 AM until time for the service. Interment in the church cemetery.

Vann Funeral Home in charge of the service.

The viewing will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 2-6 PM.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories a loving and devoted husband: Grover C. Vann Jr. of Greenwood, Florida

1 Daughter: Kemandra (Cyrus) Vann of Orlando, Florida

2 Granddaughters: Ja’Niyah and Chavanni Hill both of Orlando, Florida

2 Sisters: Ollie Bell and Orleavy Morris both of Greenwood, Florida

2 Brothers: AB. (Sheffie) Long of Orlando, Florida and John (Barbara) Long of Donaldsonville, Georgia
