Jackson County TIMES hosts food drive

The Jackson County TIMES staff and breakfast crew were so moved by the work of Chipola Ministries, they conducted a three-day food drive that was so successful that it will be a continuing project.  In just three days, the TIMES was able to gather 65 pounds of food to donate to Chipola Ministries.  The food was delivered Thursday morning to the delight of Fred Cook and his employees.

The TIMES will continue to serve as a drop off center for both Chipola Ministries and Backpack for Kids.  We challenge everyone when grocery shopping to pick up an extra bag of rice, jar of peanut butter, jelly or any other nonperishable item.
