The Jackson County Commissioners recognized eight employees during their regularly scheduled monthly meeting Tuesday morning for years of service ranging from five years to 30 years.
Jeffery D. Baker was the first to come forward to pick up his awards for 30 years of service. Baker currently is an Equipment Operator IV for the Jackson County Road Department.
Sharon D. McRoy was recognized for 20 years of service. McRoy is the Executive Secretary for Jackson County Ag Extension Office.
John R. Wood received his certificate for 15 years of service. Wood is an Equipment Operator III for Jackson County Road Department.
Jason M. McCoy is a Correctional Officer for the Jackson County Correctional Facility. He was presented his certificate for 10 years of service.
Timothy L. Ham is a Probation Officer for the Jackson County Court system. He was recognized for 10 years of service.
Marilyn L. Searcy is in the position of a maintenance person with the Jackson County Maintenance Department for five years of service.
Wanda J. Biggs was recognized for five years of service to Jackson County. Ms. Biggs is the Executive Secretary with the Jackson County Parks and Recycling.
John M. Farris is an Equipment Operator IV with the Jackson County Road Department. He was recognized for five years of service to the County.
All employees recognized were giving a cup, a plague and a certificate by the Board of Commissioners.
