Vencie C. Williams

Sister Vencie C. Williams of Bascom, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at her residence.

Sister Williams was a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She retired from Sunland Training Center as a Residential Service Supervisor.

The Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 1:00 PM from the sanctuary of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church located in the Two Egg Community of Greenwood, Florida. The Reverend L.V. Farmer (pastor), Dr. C.E. Richardson, Sr., the Reverend Freddie Roulhac, the Reverend LeRoy McLeroy, the Reverend Nelson Wilson, and the Reverend Calvin Williams officiating. Interment will be in the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Vann Funeral Home in charge.

Floral tributes are welcome, but contributions can be made to the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Vince C. Williams.

She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family: A Devoted and Loving Husband: Deacon Nathaniel Williams, Jr. of Bascom, Florida Two Daughters: Valaree Walker and husband Antwon Walker of Chicago, Illinois; and Vanessa Williams Richardson and husband Dr. C.E. Richardson, Sr. of Corpus Christi, Texas One Son: NaTon Williams of Bascom, Florida One Stepdaughter: Cecilia Pittman and husband Kenneth Pittman of Lauderhill, Florida Grandchildren that she raised: Keyonis Shack; Troy Shack, Jr.; Tessa Shack; Tyras McKinney; and An'Ton Williams Four Sisters: Emma Sanders of Wilmington, North Carolina; Mellow Curry of Creedmore, North Carolina; and Marilyn Capehart and husband Byron of Marianna, Florida; and Dr. Chrishonda Curry and husband

Three Brothers: Perman Curry, Jr. of Marianna, Florida; Kenneth Curry of Quincy, Florida; and Sherman Curry of Atlanta, Georgia Aunt: Hermie L. Holmes and husband Elder Samuel Holmes of Tampa, Florida Uncle: Joseph Smith and wife Emily of Louisville, Kentucky; And numerous aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
