Dora Bell Edenfield Hansford

Dora Bell Edenfield Hansford

Dora Bell Edenfield Hansford age 87 of Sneads, passed away on Friday, January 06, 2012 in the Washington County Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. She was a lifetime resident of Jackson County, was of the Holiness faith and was a member of the Grand Ridge Church of God.

Mrs. Hansford was preceded in death by her husbands Perry Elton Edenfield and William E. Hansford; parents Lee and Janie Burke; and her sisters Rosie Ayers, Florence Potts and Emma Williams; brothers, Oscar Burke, Johnny Burke, Joe Burke, Nath Burke and Floyd Burke.

Survivors include, sons, James Edenfield and wife Joe of Lake City, FL and Michael Edenfield of Tuscaloosa, AL; daughters Janice Bush of Chipley, Joann McCoy and husband John of Chattahoochee, FL and step-daughter Rose Marie Hansford of Georgia; 13 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 13 Great Great Grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Hansford will be held at 2:00PM CST on Monday, January 9, 2012 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hewett officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. A time of remembrance will be held from 1:00PM CST until time of service.

Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
