Barbara Harris was arrested without incident, and booked into the Jackson County Correctional Facility for three counts of obtaining a prescription by fraud.
Barbara Harris Arrested After Attempt to Falsely Obtain Drugs
Written by Staff 20 February 2012 Published in PoliceOn Friday, February 3, Officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to Waco Drugs at 4154 G Lafayette Street, in Marianna in reference to a female who was attempting to fraudulently obtain three prescriptions. Barbara Harris of 1562 Mill Road, Alford, Fl., admitted to calling in the prescriptions by impersonating a medical professional employed with Family Health Care of Chipley. Police were alerted on the following day of the inconsistency identified by the pharmacist and the supposed prescribing doctor. When Harris arrived on Friday to retrieve the said medication, she was apprehended.
