Troy Groth
On Wednesday night January 18, a would be robber entered the Big Star Liquor Store on Penn Ave. and shot Troy Groth in the throat and critically wounded him. He was taken to Jackson hospital and later was taken by jet to a hospital in Birmingham. He has been in Intensive Care on a ventilator since the shooting and needs surgery.
