Concerned American Patriots meet and hear Pastor Eddie Eaton

Pastor Eddie Eaton Pastor Eddie Eaton

Pastor Eddie Eaton of West Pittman Baptist Church “preached to the choir” at the Concerned American Patriots monthly meet Monday at the Agricultural Center on West Highway 90 near Marianna. Eaton spoke to the sizable crowd of the concept of life beginning upon conception, urging those present to think of the unborn as a person, regardless of the stage of development within the mother.

Beginning with a history lesson about Adolph Hitler, chancellor of Germany in the decade of the 1930s, and the law that he enforced that made it legal to dispose of millions of Jews, Eaton tied in the laws of America that make it legal to abort fetuses, a law that has allowed the taking of more lives than the German laws of the 1930s.

With the upcoming anniversary on January 22 of the landmark Supreme Court decision known as Rowe v Wade, Pastor Eaton graphically described the progress made in recent years as more scientists recognize that life begins early in the stage of development and that thismeans that the unborn indeed feels the pain of abortion. He pointed out that Americans are becoming more pro life, with more favorable legislation on the way, and with the realization that there is a cultural change that is becoming stronger.

Reverend Eaton praised the Women’s Pregnancy Center in Marianna, as well as those in other places, where a woman can obtain assistance in time of need and can learn of alternatives to abortion that are more moral and reasonable.
