How to stop garbage can suction

How to stop garbage can suction

Most people collect leaves by placing them in a plastic bag inside a trash can.

There’s nothing wrong with that, except when you go to remove the bag, often the bag forms suction at the bottom and you can’t get the bag out.

You can solve that vacuum problem by drilling holes in the can and introducing some air.

Take a 5/8-inch diameter drill bit and drill a series of holes around the outside of the can and also in the bottom.

The holes will allow the air in, and break the vacuum.

So now when you go to remove the bag, the bag full of leaves slides out with no problem at all!

Watch the video for details.
